Jewelry by Aurélie Bidermann: simple yet beautiful

One of my recent obsessions are jewelry boxes. I kind of still regret not having bought this mirrored Zara Home jewelry box I saw in Amsterdam, but I couldn't ignore this : "Why do you need to store your cheap metal jewelry in a box?" Valid question! Since I didn't have an answer to that, my cheapo H&M accessories are still unorganized and I am dreaming of Aurélie Bidermann's simple yet cute and bold pieces...

Basics

Although basic pieces are essential to every outfit it's so much less fun to purchase them than other articles of clothing. But these chic tops are something I definitely would love to add to my wardrobe. I'm actually not a fan of lilac but the sheer fabric makes it look more elegant. I just want to wear oversized cardigans with these tops..

Help me choose

I've been looking for large green earrings to wear with a black formal dress at a dear friend's wedding and finally narrowed down my options. I'm still unsure though... What do you think of these, which one would you go for? Or do you have some other recommendations for me?

UNEARTHEN jewelry

People who love unusual jewelry and accessories like me need to see Gia Bahm's accessory line UNEARTHEN. It has some pretty cool stuff I'd like to share with you.

The crystal and bullet necklaces are the most popular items of her line but as a ring addict myself I wouldn't mind owning the first piece below. Who am I kidding, I'd love to have every single thing from her line and then maybe I'll become a convert and believe in the healing and mystic powers of the gemstones... ^^

Pamela Love

To me this doesn't look creepy at all and I'd love to have the talon cuff clinging to my wrist. That is, if I had 1000 dollars to spend on an accessory... Have a look at Pamela Love's site if you want to see more of her tough-luxe accessories.

SC Bags

Source: stylerumor

I'm in love with these bags ever since I saw the collaboration line of Sofia Coppola and Louis Vuitton. Past October they extended the collection: smaller sizes of the original SC bag, calf leather in two new colors, suede calf leather in a new hue.

Personally, I prefer the ones in suede since they look very smooth and less stiff than the classic monogram canvas bags. Nevertheless I think that Sofia Coppola and LV created timelss models with a decent beauty!

New season

Yves Saint Laurent Arty flower ring

Still not over those YSL metall rings. Basically it doesn't matter which one, they're all gorgeous.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Small French leather wallet

It's time I buy myself a new, sleek wallet. This color would brighten up my mood, that's for sure.

Summer in the city

Like many other women every summer I'm on the look-out for new beauty products to make me feel polished all day long. Instead of doing a "What's in my beauty bag?" post I just listed them below. I've been using most of them for a long time and I'm really satisfied with them. So, here are my summer essentials:

1) Estée Lauder Double Wear: Let me start by saying that I have a rather oily, blemish-prone skin, so when it gets warmer this foundation has pretty much of a holy grail status for me. It gives great coverage and lasts really long. I used the Double Wear Light version of it during last summer but I came to the conclusion that this one was much better for humid weather.

2) Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup: This is the second foundation I use, mostly when I have breakouts. Its staying power can pretty much hold up with Double Wear and after applying it I don't even need additional concealer for spots.

3) Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte: I like a matt finish so I carry this translucent powder with me at all times. Upon applying foundation I set my foundation with loose powder from Yves Rocher at home, so this compact always stays in my bag for touch-ups on the go and lasts me a long time.

4) L'Oréal Touche Magique Concealer: I always buy different under-eye concealers but I keep coming back to this brush pen to brighten up and illuminate my tired eyes. The coverage is not very high and since I use the lightest shade it also doubles as a highlighter.

5) MAC Sonic Chic Mineralized Blush in Dainty: This blush came in a goodie bag and I've been using it almost every day for nearly a year now! If I can see the bottom of the pan it means that I really loved the product and this is no exception. ^^ Dainty is a warm pink color with subtle shimmer and flatters my skintone equally in summer and in winter. It's highly pigmented, long-lasting and gives my cheeks a pretty glow.

6) Chanel Nouvelle Vague nail polish: This nail polish is on my shopping list but unfortunately it's still not available in Switzerland. Chanel nail polishes almost have no staying power on my nails but I know that I won't be able to resist this shade which will be perfect for summer.

7) Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté in Peach Passion: Apparently this lipstick is on my wish list since October 2008!! I don't really know why I never bought it but I definitely have to have this peach colored lipstick this summer!

8) Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzer: I was lucky to get this bronzer in a goodie bag as well and recommended it to many girlfriends in the last two years I've been using it. I mostly use it for contouring my cheekbones or when I want a sunkissed look I lightly apply it all over my face. This bronzer looks and smells heavenly like a chocolate bar and I'm definitely sticking with it since this one doesn't look orangey or muddy on me.

Do we share any favorites? Which products are your summer essentials?

Indian spirit

Current craving: dreamcatcher earrings from Topshop

I would wear these beauties with long wavy hair and a loose tank top..too bad the weather's so ugly right now. Freakish hail, rain and wind storms.

Say ya want to be with me, but show me my ring, baby let me think

I hardly wear silver jewelry, but the silver rings above with the turquoise gemstones are definitely must-haves. It would be interesting to mix them with the golden ones!
(rings are not from house of harlow 1960)

Abalone stations necklace, house of harlow 1960

I want to wear this beautiful necklace with an ivory-colored silk blouse! The collection by Nicole Richie really impressed me. I love the fact that the collection is inspired by the 60s and 70s. Therefore it includes not only cuffs, rings, necklaces and earrings but also unique headbands at a truly affordable price.

Dry shampoo

Some feel good products:
1. Laura Mercier, almond and coconut body and bath collection / creme brulee body and bath collection
2. Fresh, citron de vigne candle
The mix of almond and coconut must be heavenly.

T3, refresh volumizing dry shampoo

Does anyone of you have experience with dry shampoo?

I would love to try it out, but I'm quite skeptical about the effect though...
